We did some landscaping over the weekend around the patio and also got the grass fixed where I dug it up with the equipment. Feels good to now be able to enjoy it and to know we don't have to carry or lay any more pavers. Plus this is the last big project around the house. We have built a deck, finished a game room, painted every room in the house, updated our landscaping and built a patio. I think it is time to put away the tools and relax. Anyways here is a quick picture of the finished project.
Well we decided to start our Patio Project over the last few days. We were able to get everything down but the landscaping which is on the schedule for this upcoming weekend. Here is some pics from the project.
Well it looks like spring is upon us and with that it is time for some Landscaping. So this past Saturday we decided to change up our front landscaping by adding a small wall that will level out our mulch bed and also keep it from washing out into the yard. It was such a nice day that we were able to get just about 80% of it done. We still need to add the capstone, back fill with dirt and add some new mulch but other than that we are almost there. And lets not forget all the plants I need to replace thanks to the deer. Here are just a few pics from the project.
Well we are just about to hit our 2 year mark shortly. We have now officially painted every room in our house. The last room we did was our sons. We wanted to hold off but since it is snowing here in Pittsburgh, we figured, why not. He wanted a snowboard themed room so below is what he got.
Here are a few more pics the night before carpet was installed and one pic with the carpet. Tomorrow I have the granite installed and will update with a couple final pics of the completed room. Thanks as always for checking out my blog.
Just some updated pics of the progress. Update from my last blog post my carpet will be installed this Monday. I fell behind last week because of my son breaking his arm. But it looks like me are back on track.
Well a few weeks ago I started on the Gameroom. I have the bathroom framed up and now the tile is down. Next I am doing some wiring for all the outlets and recessed and other special lights throughout the entire Gameroom. In few weeks I am on vacation and my goal is to frame out the remaining and also get the drywall installed. Anyways here is a few quick pics of the floor right after I finished the grout. Sorry for the Low Res. Pics iPhone camera is not to great under low light. Total Floor Tile Project Cost Per SqFt was $4.59. Total area was 30 SqFt. Bringing my total to $137.93. Not bad for a bathroom floor project. Total Hours of Labor = 5.
Sink we have selected. It is made by Allen Roth and is available at Lowes for only $269
