Lot and House Has Been Staked!!!

Today I had to meet with our Sales Rep to sign the final change orders for our flooring and guardian updates we made. While I was there I was told that our lot had been staked off since we will be breaking ground in just over 2 weeks. I was also told that a home that is currently being built in our section was a Sienna, so I was also excited to see the foundation and how it looked so far. I went up to the lot and there they were, all the stakes showing us where our house would be located on the lot. All I can say is WOW this is going to be perfect. We are going to be about 20 feet from our neighbors which is further than what we have now and our back yard is going to be a full 70 feet from the back of the morning room. It is going to be great to have a back yard that the little one can run around in and enough space that we can throw catch when he gets older. Can't wait.

Well today our Sales Rep. sent me an email letting me know we are good to go on our loan. It feels good to know all is well. I must admit since we signed on Sept. 24th it has been an emotional roller coaster. From signing and knowing you are going to be potentially building a home very soon but just not sure 100%, to picking everything out and feeling that this home now has to be yours because you picked everything and added your touch and then sitting and still waiting for the final loan approval. I must admit this has been the longest 6 weeks ever. But it feels good now even though it feels crazy to know you are just about to watch your home being built. But now onto the next stress of selling our current home.
