PreDrywall Meeting Complete!!!

Well today met with my PM for my PreDrywall meeting and everything looked really good. All of our electrical, plumbing, security and Data/Coaxial locations and hookups looked great and are in the designated areas we requested. Got our closing date for Feb. 25th and our final home walk through for Feb 21st. According to my PM we will be finishing Siding this week starting Stone next week and starting Drywall by Friday this week if everything goes good with our Energy Star Inspection. So sometime late next week they will start with installing the millwork. Time is flying by. Here is some pics of the Siding being installed and what our back yard will look like as for size.

Refrigerator Recommendations

Well we have been researching many different Refrigerators and am just not sure what to go with. We like Side-by-Sides the most and we are looking for something in Stainless. The house will have general Stainless GE appliances installed. So I was thinking that maybe a we should go with a GE model, but am just not sure.

Any Suggestions?

So far we like this fridge from GE

Interest Rate Locked In!!!!

Today was a very big and important day. I am proud to say we have now locked in our interest rate at 3.25%. Hard to believe we are now just about 30 days or so from closing. The next few weeks are going to go by so fast and before we know it we will be moving in.

Construction Week #8

Little update. This week they have made some amazing progress on our home. They are installing the HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Security and Data/Coaxial ports and the Insulation. Spoke to my PM and next week around mid week we will be doing our Pre-Drywall Meeting. Looks like it is time to lock in our interest rate and closing date. Before we know it, we will be moving in.

Quick note on our home that is For Sale. We have had allot of viewings prior to the holidays and now that it is a new year the viewings have picked up. We have had really great feedback on the home with the only negative being our tiered yard. So far we have had one offer that just didn't meet our min price. So onward we go with more open houses, TV Spots and local post cards and Newsletters. Time will tell.

Sunday Visit Week 8

We stopped by today to check out the progress and to finally get some pics of the inside of the home. Everything looks like it is going together really well. I must give my framers 2 thumbs up on what they have done so far.

Added photo captions to describe what you are looking at.
