I applied and received my permit yesterday from North Fayette Township Building Division. They were very easy to deal with. So with permit now in hand I am ready to start our deck. We decided to go with a 12'x17' deck. We are going with TimberTech Composite Decking and Railing. I am planning to put in some type of under deck drainage system but have not settled on what type. But first thing is first time to start digging the footers tonight. So excited to be starting this project. I will keep everyone up to date on how things are going.

Today Ryan Homes had a company out to start the process of epoxying my garage floor. They offered this to us after they had to cut up our floor to fix our garage floor drain. I am really looking forward to it. We did this in our previous home and it was great. It added such a nice look and it was easier to keep clean that a standard concrete floor.

Community sidewalk is formed up and is poured. Excited because I think we may see Topsoil and Landscaping if the weather cooperates sometime in the next week or two. Plus next week Ryan is epoxying my garage floor. Finally I can start to organize it.

Well Saturday I was relaxing with the family when I heard a loud noise that sounded like a classic big block car was racing in our neighborhood. Well I look and looked and didn't seeing anything until I noticed the cloud of dust coming from the other hillside. Well I didn't realize that just across the hill there was the Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway. It was loud enough with one car going around the track to be annoying I can only imagine what it will be like when a full race is going on. Kinda wish I would have know about this. Guess I should have researched more. At least they have a schedule so I should know when to expect it.

So happy to finally have our driveway installed. Lesson learned if you want to extend your driveway make sure you ask ahead of time. The 17 feet we would have got would have made things a little tight. So we decided to extend it by 4 feet and for a small cost we now have more room for parking. Now on to our grass, sidewalk and landscaping once the weather breaks completely.
